Please commend your child on all of their hard work this week! I’m looking forward to another great week ahead!
Google Meets It was fun meeting with so many of you today with our small group Google Meets!
Thank you again for all your support and participation during our online learning. We had another successful week! Like last week, 3 new daily learning opportunities will be up each morning. Those will be labeled with the day of the week so you can easily filter through the activities if you are going back to do missed ones. The activities from this week will be archived on Sunday afternoon. All of the student work will still be there, but archiving the activities makes it easier for kids to see new content each week. Continuing this week I will be teaching literacy lessons and creating the assignments. Mrs. Carlin will be doing math and Mrs. Eckel will be doing science & social studies (2 of each). The weekly overview with outlined learning targets will be sent out on Sunday afternoon :) This just gives us the weekend to prepare the lessons and activities for this upcoming week. As always, please feel free to reach out if you need tech support or have other online learning questions.
Scholastic Book Order
I’ve learned that Scholastic is allowing teachers to get book orders sent to their house. This is an affordable option if you’re looking to get more books in your home library! I’ll be safely delivering orders to doorsteps once the order comes in! I’ve placed the first order and I will be emailing you when that order comes in. You can place your orders online at scholastic.com/bookclubs using my class activation code: R64RF

Pen Pal A few people have asked about writing me letters. Writing letters is a great way to incorporate handwriting, sentence structure and forming complete thoughts. My order for stationary came in and I am more than happy to respond to letters being sent.
Please email me for my address.
